Property Manager

This is a Full-time position in York region, ON posted May 15, 2018.

Seeking a hands-on Property Manager in Richmond Hill.

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the principal’s property, assist with the day to day running of the residence, and will have strong vendor/trade management. This is a full-time, live on property position. Applicants should be flexible with schedules, able to work occasional nights and weekends.

The live-on accommodation is a separate building on property. The successful candidate will be housed in a fully furnished, two-bedroom apartment, with a private entrance, full bathroom, open concept living room space, kitchen fully equipped with fridge and oven, along with other kitchen essentials, plus laundry.



Primary Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Walk through and monitor Principal’s property for maintenance and mechanical issues
  • Schedule, coordinate and onsite management of contractors, trades and vendors
  • Organize seasonal projects, interior and exterior, to include HVAC maintenance, snow removal, power washing walkways and patios
  • Regular light pet care for dogs to include walks and nutrition
  • Assisting with events ranging from family events to casual pool parties and barbeques
  • Drive Principal as needed to the airport or downtown Toronto area
  • Other duties as required from time to time, to include running errands
  • Accepting deliveries while maintaining security of the property

Applicant Qualities

  • Must have previous property management experience
  • Must be comfortable with dogs
  • Applicants must be self-starters and have a strong ability to work independently
  • Must have a hands-on, do it yourself mentality when it comes to property management
  • Excellent research skills, intuitive and the ability to problem solve
  • Applicants should have a strong work ethic, strong English communication skills and ability to anticipate needs
  • Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times, exercising diplomacy, discretion and respecting appropriate boundaries
  • Polished, professional personal presentation
  • A valid, clean Ontario driver’s licence (class G)
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
