Job Description

M&A business development specialists represent the front-end of our clients

acquisition machine.

Together with its parent company , our client strengthens, and grows vertical market software businesses since

more than 20 years. To keep our clients growth rate on current levels, M&A business

development specialists are our spearhead and get in contact with CEOs and owners of

established software companies in North America and selected parts of Europe.

As an M&A business development specialist, a typical day might include the following:

• Downloading a (SFDC) report to prioritize accounts for


• Use digital marketing tools to set-up email campaigns and use social media to

improve prospecting

• Cold call owners of vertical market software companies and position Volaris

group as a buy-and-hold forever investor

• Find creative ways to get in contact with decision makers despite firewalls

built of assistants

• Lead conversations towards signing of NDAs to start and M&A process and to

hand over the account

• Update salesforce with all relevant activities

• Attend a weekly coaching and team call to share best practices with the team

• Attend a trade show from time to time to get into contact with prospects

things. You can quickly identify patterns in a conversation to lead a conversation with

people that are usually older than you.

You are a good communicator: You are not afraid from cold calling C-level decision

makers. You communicate clearly. You are comfortable in communicating in writing

and on the phone in English

To land this gig, you need to have some experience in cold calling and in selling

complex products or services. You don’t have to be experienced in M&A. We will

educate you on this.
