Assistant Property Manager at QuickStay

About QuickStay

QuickStay is a property management and hospitality company offering guests a wide selection of luxury suites for both short and long term rentals.

Maintaining the highest quality standards across our units, we’re now looking for the right person to join our team to handle regular on-the-ground jobs. This role requires daily availability from 11am-3pm, with actual work hours varying throughout the week, as well as flexible schedule and the ability to be “on call” during evenings and weekends, for any urgent matters that come up.

Responsibilities include:

  • Regular quality control and inspections of all units
  • Basic maintenance

    – fix a loose towel bar, unclog sinks/toilets, replace a lightbulb..

  • Fix TV and WiFi issues – need a basic understanding of how to debug, repair, reconnect AND call Bell/Rogers when necessary
  • Troubleshoot appliances and determine when professional repair is needed
  • Supply restocking (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc.)
  • Purchase missing items, supplies and inventory and deliver to the units
  • Access and organize the storage lockers and maintain inventory counts of all items
  • Occasionally help guests with check-in procedure
  • Furniture assembly, picture-hanging and staging prep – Work with our designer to help set up new QuickStay properties, bringing them from empty to guest-ready in just a few days.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You are organized, hard working, detail-oriented, energetic, and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
  • You are honest and trustworthy!
  • You have a great attitude and you’re easy to work with *VERY IMPORTANT*
  • You’re comfortable with a drill, a brush, a screwdriver, a hammer and a level
  • You know what an allen key is and you have experience assembling furniture, even if the drawings are wonky
  • You’re able to lift heavy items including boxes and furniture
  • You’re an awesome troubleshooter and problem solver and you try to resolve an issue on your own before asking for help
  • You own a smart phone and have a valid driver’s license and access to a car – Important because you need to always be reachable and mobile!
